Danielle & Simon – 20th June 2012 – Engagement Shoot at Wimpole Hall

It was a long trip, but it was worth it. Danielle and Simon chose Wimpole Hall Estate for their engagement shoot and what a location. They brought their shy little ‘wesite’ Sidney along for the shoot. Sidney was not a big fan of the sheep in the fields, but was great in front of the camera. A lovely couple, perfect light, what more could you ask for.

Nissa & Daniel – 14th June 2012 – Engagement Shoot at Sandringham, Norfolk

This shoot didn’t start off too well. Nissa and Dan went straight to the swings in Sandringham and within about one minute Nissa was on the floor with mud on her back. This did make for an interesting shoot, but the sun shone and we had lots of fun. Sandringham just looks amazing in the summer and luckily everyone had gone home by the time we started the shoot so we had no one watching us. Nissa and Dan were so much fun and I cannot wait until the wedding in October.

Gemma & Scott – 26th May 2012 – Wedding at Kimberley Hall, Norfolk

Only a week before this wedding we were photographing Gemma & Scott for their engagement shoot. How the weather had changed since then and I think we can thank their Australian guests for bringing some sun along with them.

The whole day was at Kimberley Hall and it was such a chilled out day with around 54 guests and around half of them having travelled from down under.

We held out for sunset for the main photographs of Gemma & Scott and it really paid off with some of the best light we’ve seen all year. Lets hope we have more evenings like that this year.

Simon & Sam – 19th May 2012 – Wedding at Kimberley Hall, Norfolk

It was an early start for me with a trip to the salon at 9:30 before heading over to St. Giles Hotel in Norwich, which is where Sam got ready.

It was then on to the Thorpe St Andrew Church where Simon was waiting. Sam arrived in a 1937 Rolls Royce which looked amazing. After the ceremony Simon and Sam had a little walk along the river which runs through the city before we travelled on to the reception.

It has been a little while since I have been at Kimberley Hall and it was great to be back. With it’s grand entrance, music room and it’s classic butterfly staircase, It probably has the most interesting interior of any wedding venue in Norfolk. It really is a pleasure to shoot a wedding there and I am glad that Simon and Sam chose Kimberley Hall as it created a great backdrop to the stunning photographs of the two of them.
