I had been looking forward to Steve and Laura’s wedding since the minute they booked me and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Oxnead Hall, sun, gorgeous couple and shooting with the very talented James Rouse and Gina Manning. What more could you want. It took Laura and Steve 14 years to get to this point and the wait was worth it. This is a wedding I won’t forget in a hurry.
Here are a few of my favourite photographs from Nichola and Charles’s big day. Nichola got ready with her mother, grandmother and two sisters at one of the stunning cottages by The Victoria in Holkham. The ceremony was held at Blakeney church and I think this must be my favourite church in North Norfolk as the light is amazing and there is so much room for me to move around. I did remove my shoes to be a bit more stealthy this time. After throwing the confetti we all went back to Holkham Hall for food and epic dancing.
Some of my favourites from Lindsay and Richard’s wedding a few weeks back. I am so glad that we stopped at Gunby Estate for a few photographs after the ceremony as it has a stunning Hall with some rather nice gardens. It was then back to Matt and Hannah’s for a relaxed party with a hog roast and plenty of ale.
It’s great when a bride does a speech, but Claire didn’t stop there. Claire & Gary grabbed their guitars and joined the band for a rendition of ‘Sit Down’ by ‘James’, which is one of my favourite songs.
Here are a few photographs from their awesome day.
If you want a super chilled wedding, get married in your back garden. I think this must have been the most relaxed wedding I have ever photographed and I am so glad that Ellie & Adam asked me to photograph it. Having their friend marry them was such a great idea too. Amazing food and excellent ales made this a wedding I won’t forget.
